The AccelePort Xem asynchronous concentrator is an expandable, modular and intelligent serial communication solution designed specifically for small to mid-size multiuser installations. It is especially well-suited to applications that are expected to start small and grow over time, to as many as 64 ports. The AccelePort Xem works in concert with a wide array of popular operating systems. The AccelePort Xem system features a host adapter card with an on-board RISC-based processor that delivers up to 115.2 Kbps performance. The system also includes a compact Digi PORTS module that provides access to eight or 16 serial ports. | |
