| The ViewPoint system offers flexibility in controlling your network. It allows network administrators at a local console to pass keyboard and mouse commands to as many as 32 remote computers. It also allows user pods to be located up to 600 feet away from the core, system pods 250 feet away from the core, enabling the user and the system pods to be up to 850 feet away from one another. Each ViewPoint system contains core that connects to user pods, system pods, and an administration terminal. Each system pod can be attached to two computers. The system pod decodes the keyboard and mouse commands it receives, via the Cat5 cables, from the input cards in the core, and forwards the data to the selected computer. | |
