RAIDPro represents a new class of RAID storage systems.The system incorporates many features of high-end server
storage products in a compact, plug-and-play enclosure that can be easily installed and is simple to use.
The six-drive RAIDPro enclosure is complemented by an Artecon DGR controller, which offers easy-to-use
configuration management tools that allow you to add capacity and reassign RAID levels to logical drives on the fly.

o An audible alarm with an external silence button RAID Pro DGR Controller Features The RAIDPro DGR controller is an enhanced RAID controller with the following advanced features:
o Dynamic Growth and Reconfiguration (DGR) DGR is an advanced RAID management utility that
provides an innovative and powerful new RAID management method that lets you add or subtract
capacity and change RAID levels without having to reconfigure from scratch. In NetWare, you can make these changes without downing the server by using a driver feature called virtual sizing. In NT, you can make the changes while
your server is running; but you will have to reboot the server, in most cases, for NT to recognize the changes in storage capacity.
o Adaptive Read-ahead Caching
When Adaptive Read-ahead Caching is enabled, the RAIDPro DGR controller automatically adjusts its
read-caching algorithm to the specific application environment, addressing sequential reads with full stripe requests while processing random requests in small, efficient block transfers.
