The PortMaster 3 Integrated Access Server consolidates digital modem technology, Frame Relay, ISDN Primary Rate Interface (PRI), and T1, channelized T1, or E1 services for seamless remote access. PRI is an ISDN service that connects your site to a telephone company's central office. The PortMaster 3 also connects to channelized T1 circuits for dial-up access supporting twenty-four 56Kbps data channels. When used on channelized T1 lines, the PortMaster 3 has the unique ability to automatically answer a modem or ISDN call using the same phone number. The PortMaster 3 operates over T1 and E1 lines in fractional data rates selectable in any multiple of 64Kbps (T1 or E1 lines) up to the line capacity.
