The Escalade™ 6000 Series Switched RAID Controllers exceed the performance of Ultra160 SCSI configurations and offer the reliability of RAID at a fraction of the cost. The Escalade 6000 Series Controllers' innovative packet switch design leverages the speed of the Ultra ATA/100 disk drives and delivers unparalleled performance for data-intensive applications.

Redundancy to Protect Valuable Data

The Escalade 6000 controllers' RAID 1 and 10 configurations protect your data by mirroring it to a second drive. The RAID 5 configuration stripes the data and maintains the parity of each stripe across all drives, and in the event of a drive failure, ensures improved data protection and efficient disk usage. 3ware's 3DM™ is a Web-based storage monitoring disk management utility. The 3DM application notifies you of a drive failure via e-mail and an audible alert. With advanced features like hot swap and hot spare*, replacement of a failed drive can be accomplished without disrupting the operation of the system.

Scalable for Increasing Capacities

The Escalade 6000 controllers are the most scalable ATA storage controllers available. The Escalade 6200 (2-port) and 6410 (4-port) controllers are compact enough to sit on any desktop or 1U server. The Escalade 6400 (4-port) is ideal for low-end to mid-range servers and workstations. The Escalade 6800 (8-port) controller maximizes capacity for large servers.

High Performance, Even for Mirrored Drives

3ware's DiskSwitch™ architecture accesses multiple drives simultaneously, yielding increased data transfer rates in RAID 0 exceeding 100 MB/sec in reads. With write performance in excess of 85 MB/sec, the Escalade 6000 controllers exceed the requirements for applications like digital video editing and 3D modeling. 3ware's advanced TwinStor™ technology boosts RAID 1 and 10 read performance and provides data redundancy, perfect for Web, file and database servers. With Escalade 6000 controllers, there's no need to trade performance for data protection.
