The Silicom DoubleSerial PC Card integrates two high-speed serial ports in a single dual-function PC Card. Both internal 16550 UARTs include built-in data buffers, and provide maximum Windows 95/98 and Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows ME performance for peripherals such as high-speed analog and ISDN modems - without wasting bandwidth re-transmitting missing characters.

Two industry-standard DB-9 connectors are included to connect your portable computer to serial peripherals, such as medical and scientific data collection equipment, label printers, bar code scanners, stenographic machines, and external fax/modems. With the Double Serial, portable computer users can have simultaneous access to two serial peripherals, and transfer different data using dual high-speed RS-232 serial ports.

PC Card compatibility and Plug and Play features are assured with full support of all major Card and Socket Services software vendors.
